While the federal budget is funded by tax revenues. Many Americans do not agree with the amount of spending or what is funded by the budget. Many feel we should spend less. Politicians who want to lower taxes maybe cutting spending in areas the public agrees with. Also if taxes continue to be raised and income is not raised people will have a smaller budget to provide the needs of their families and the government will have more money.
