Answer: C. And to offset his good looks, the H-G men required that he wear at all times a red rubber ball for a nose, keep his eyebrows shaved off.

A dystopia is a society that is undesirable or frightening. It is the opposite of utopia. This short story by Kurt Vonnegut is an example of a dystopia, as the characters live through social events that are undesirable. The answer illustrates that in this distopia, people are required to offset their good looks (in this case, by wearing a rubber nose and keeping the eyebrows shaved off).

In The Sand Neckoner, what does Archimedes realize about the Great Harbor that turns the story
ohaa [14]

Answer:

In the passage, ‘The Sand Reckoner” Marcus’s words about needing to disembark contribute to the plot because in paragraph 2 Archimedes is trying to play mathematical games with Marcus, but Marcus is trying to get Archimedes to be serious. He is trying to get Archimedes to understand there’s a war going on and he needs to focus and stop playing games.
