Answer:

Sforzando

Explanation:

This means suddenly loud.  Usually this dynamic is during a soft dynamic such as piano.  This dynamic can be compared to an accent, but keeps the loud and hard tone.  It is great for showing emotion and sudden picking up of a tune and melody.

Answer:

The subito forte ("suddenly strong," sf) indicates that the note is to stick out from the preceding and following notes, but Beethoven also seems to intend the accentuation to stay within the general "box" of whatever abiding dynamic is indicated for the passage, such that an sf indication within a piano passage would probably not be sounded at a true forte.

Poets use imagery and words with different connotations and denotations. In a paragraph, define and provide an example of imager
Fiesta28 [93]
Hi,
www.dictionary.com is a great place to look up definitions, but I'll give you a really brief and basic overview.

Imagery is the rhetorical tool writers use to creates mental images in a writer's mind by using descriptive words. Denotation and connotation are tricky but fun; denotation is the exact meaning of a word, while connotation is the mood it invokes or how it comes across. For instance, "tug" and "heave" have the same denotation or definition, but "heave" sounds a lot more laborious or hard, which makes gives it a different connotation.

You can find your own examples in the poem (you got this!), but here's a quick guideline:

For imagery, find a line or phrase that is so descriptive, you can almost see it.
For denotation and connotation, find two words whose meanings are similar but that take on different tones.

As for supporting your answers with the Declaration of Emancipation, you'll have to do your research. I'll help clarify, but ultimately, the answer's yours :)

How does this quotation support the central idea of the speech? It reinforces the idea that Truth's personal experiences have gr
mario62 [17]

The correct answer is D) It affirms the notion that religion can't be used as a basis for unequal treatment.

You forgot to include the text or the quotation. Without that information, we do not know what you are talking about.

However, doing some deep research trying to help you, we can say the following.

The quotation that supports the central idea of the speech is "It affirms the notion that religion can't be used as a basis for unequal treatment."

After our research, we found that the quotation was <em>"Ain't I a Woman? Where did your Christ come from? Where did your Christ come from? From God and a woman! Man had nothing to do with Him."</em>

And we have some cases in the Christian religion that, when reading some passages of the Bible, we realized that women had different social status than men and were relegated to a second-place behind men.
