Answer:

The sentence about subject-verb agreement which is NOT true is:

Plural verbs go with singular subjects.

Explanation:

Subject-verb agreement refers to the agreement between the subject and the verb in a sentence. The subject and the verb in a sentence should agree with each other. When the subject is singular in number, the verb should also be singular in its form. Similarly, when the subject is plural in number, the verb should be plural.

I agree with this stament beacuase parents treat them like kids for example, they are always getting in trouble for the most childish reason. What human rights issues were in the book of mice and men
sveticcg [70]
I wrote an essay on this. I said that the human rights issues in this book was lack of education and health care, and unfair pay. Lennie seemed to be lacking academically and there were cases where Lennie was hurt but was not taken care of while Curly was hurt but did get medical help. Also the pay is unfair because there is a very clear difference between the well-being of the workers vs the owners of the ranch.

Hope this helped, good luck! :D

The narrator visits her new school for the first time .what does the narrators first encounter with the school setting indicate
Bad White [126]

Answer:

I think its based on perception. Like if the narrator comments on the people, setting, look, then you could say they're superficial however this could also mean that they value their own image or how they look to others.

If the narrator comments on the "aesthetic" and the aura they get, (the typical stepping into a new area and a gust of wind flies through their hair), this could mean they're easily intimidated or passive.

Lol this is a very vague question but I hope this helped!

What social commentary does Mark Twain make in this excerpt from "The £1,000,000 Bank-Note"?
Komok [63]
The correct answer is B: Rich Londoners are quick to bet huge sums of money to settle trivial arguments. This is because they were betting whether or not he would starve in a month. This is of course, not an actual concern and just an exaggeration, since rich people don't starve.
