The genetic code is the relation between the sequence of bases in DNA (or its RNA transcripts) and the sequence of amino acidsin proteins. ... Genetic experiments showed that anamino acid is in fact encoded by a group of three bases, or codon. 2. The code is nonoverlapping

During transcription, DNA is transcribed into messenger RNA when the the base codes in DNA are copied. mRNA serves as the code for assembling amino acids in a certain order. Codons are nitrogen bases that are aligned to create amino acids, and it is these amino acids that form proteins through peptide bonds

Eyelash length is an inherited trait. in the human population, there is an eyelash length gene. there are two possible variants
VMariaS [17]
Humans, like all mammals, are diploid organisms. This means that we have two copies of each chromosome. In diploid organisms, one somatic cell would have two copies of each gene. This means that in one somatic cell, an individual carries two copies of alleles for long eyelashes, and also two copies of alleles for short eyelashes.

Compare the sugar-phosphate arrangement in the backbone of the DNA from the plant, the manmal and the bacterium. Are there any d
eimsori [14]

Answer:

No, there are no differences

Explanation:

Deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) is a molecule composed of two polynucleotide chains that interact together in order to form a double helix. This molecule (DNA) carries the genetic instructions that make each species unique. In DNA, each polynucleotide chain is composed of nucleotide monomers: a nucleotide is composed of a deoxyribose sugar attached to a phosphate group and one nitrogen-containing base (i.e., adenine, thymine, guanine and cytosine). This basic structure is the same among different species, and, therefore, genetic differences between different groups (in this case, animals, plants, and bacteria) are caused by differences in the nucleotide-base sequences of their DNA molecules.
