san4es73 [151]
Japanese Americans were AMERICANS. They were citizens of this country. We presume innocence until proven guilty here. They were not tried and found guilty. They were simply rounded up on the basis of their ethnicity.

German Americans were not interred, but they were of European descent not Asian. To imprison the Asians but not the Europeans who could possibly be friendly to the enemy was racist.

Japanese Americans were trusted to serve in the US armed forces as did German Americans. Many served honorably fighting against possible relatives and family friends. If they could not be trusted, they shouldn't have been allowed to defend the nation in the armed forces.

Why do you think it's taken until now for the country to elect a woman as either president or vice president
Otrada [13]

Answer: Since the beginning of time Men have taken the action to put themselves above Women, so as that time passed by women were set to do housework, chores, take care of children etc. They weren’t taken seriously and never had that equality that most men had. But as that time passed by Women started taking action to be equal to Men. Men were supposably the only ones allowed to be involved in government work, but Women proved themselves that they can do much more than just housework. As one woman did something other followed and changed the world together. Today more and more women are doing work involving government issues.
