Please, Karla, explain what "C" and "n" represent.  Are you talking about combinations (for example, n+2 objects taken n at a time?  Or is C some kind of function?  I don't quite see the relationship of this problem to 'data management.'

( -7v 4 - 5v ) - ( -5v 3 - 2v ) + ( -7v - 6v 4 - 4v 3 ) simplified
LekaFEV [45]

Answer:

-13v^4 + v^3 - 10v (if simplified)

Step-by-step explanation:

combine like terms

(-7v^4 - 5v) - (-5v^3 - 2v)+ ( - 7v - 6v^4 - 4v^3)

-7v^4 + -6v^4 = -13v^4

-5v^3 + -4v^3 = v^3 (the five becomes positive because of the negative sign infront of the parenthesis) Example: -(-5v^3) = +5v^3

-13v^4 + v^3 -5v -(-2v) -7v (now we have the -2 left alone in the parenthesis which means it becomes positive too) Example: -(-2v) = +2v

-5v +2v - 7v = -3v -7v = -10v

Answer: -13v^4 + v^3 - 10v

Which statement is not a step used when constructing an inscribed square?
sammy [17]

Swing an arc the length of the radius from the point on the circle

Step-by-step explanation:

When constructing a square inscribed in a circle, you first draw the circle. This is followed by drawing the diameter of the circle.Using a pair of compass, construct a segment bisector of the diameter, and draw the perpendicular bisector to cut the circle at two points .Join the points cut by the diameter and the bisector on the circle to form the inscribed square.

Swinging an arc the length of the radius from the point on the circle will not mark the correct length of the square. The correct length of the square is marked by the points cut by the diameter and the bisector on the circle.
