We can be sure that cultural diffusion wasn't a thing that happened from Europe to Australia, but it did happen to a certain extent from Australia to New Zealand and to other areas of Oceania. We have to consider that the people who traveled these distances had to travel for a long time to be able to spread and share their cultures, as opposed to travelers from the European nations which didn't travel that often... i hope this helps :)

Paragraph explaining the influence that katabatic winds has on location of settlement and farms activities?
nasty-shy [4]

Answer:

Since the katabatic winds are descending, they tend to have a low relative humidity, which desiccates the region. Other regions may have a similar but lesser effect, leading to "blue ice" areas where the snow is removed and the surface ice sublimates, but is replenished by glacier flow from upstream.

There are a number of facts about Oil Sands

  1. There is so much of that heavy oil in the North. You might have to check this but it is the 6th largest oil pool in the "free" world.
  2. It is near the surface. Oil rigs are unnecessary.
  3. It is terribly difficult to separate. It requires 1 barrel of oil to get 2 barrels of usable oil in refined state. To compare it with West Texas Crude, 1 barrel of usable oil will refine 35 barrels of  West Texas Crude.
  4. It has become the backbone of Alberta's economy -- that and agriculture. Both are commodities. Both are tanking (price wise). Both will recover: the question is when.

I don't know what Dot Jot Format is.
