English

Answer:

Option B. A tow truck sits stranded on the side of the road with a flat tire is irony.

Explanation:

Irony is a rhetorical device employed by writers or speakers to present a situation where contrary results of what is expected are obtained resulting in wry humour.

A tow truck is a vehicle provided with special equipment to pull damaged , illegally parked, or immovable vehicles in need of help to be either disposed of or dragged to a place where they can be repaired. It is expected to be a savior carrying immobile vehicles to their destination which is most often a repair shop.

In the given situation, the tow truck is itself not able to ply on the road and is helplessly stranded on the roadside due to a flat tyre. It is contrary to what is expected and is consequently amusing. This is an example of irony.

Does society affect our body image?
Llana [10]

Answer:

Society shapes us in many ways, possibly more than we realise – from our interactions, to our personal development through to others' perception of our bodies as a reflection of self worth. We are social beings. ... And it's partly how society perceives our bodies that is of concern; we're talking body image.

Greeley [361]

Answer: Distract

Explanation:

Once the topics for each paragraph has been selected, it is important to come up with key points and these claims should relate to the topic or the main idea.

Also, the writing in each paragraph should be able to support and prove the topics. It should be noted that when writing, each paragraph should support the topic in question and should buttress the main idea. Each paragraph should not be a distraction.
