Don't delete this, it's a legitimate question. In Greek roots, carn means flesh, such as carnivore or reincarnate. So, does the

word carnival have something to do with flesh? Like, is it a flesh fest or something?

no, the word carnival is derived from Latin i believe, but it has nothing to do with the Greek roots.
