This question is about "My mistress' eyes are nothing like the sun" by William Shakespeare.

Answer and Explanation:

The speaker presents a fun and sincere tone in the sonnet.

The response to the speaker should also follow that tone.

The sonnet response can be read below. She was raised from the point of view of the mistress.

My lord does not give me exaggerated praise

You don't see me as a goddess,

Nor does it compare to the beauty of nature.

In fact my lord's sincerity can cry many listeners,

But for me it is convenient.

Because of this true vision that he has of me

I am not obliged to reach unrealistic standards

I can be myself and be comfortable in his presence

This is the greatest example of romance that anyone can achieve.

I also don't see him as a man full of perfection

And I believe that its beauty cannot be compared to that of any Adonis

Nor is his education as refined as that of the noble princes

But I see him as an equal

And that is what unites us more than anything.

Which portion of an informational text usually contains the thesis?
Marizza181 [45]
Short Answer: A
A really super writer could get away with putting the thesis statement in the conclusion of a paragraph piece. But present day English Departments have become very rigid about where the thesis is.

It is always in the introduction. The idea is that you have to guide your reader to the arguments that follow in the paragraphs to come between the introduction and the conclusion.

The word "rash" means going ahead to do something without thinking it over first. The antonym is the opposite, so the opposite of this would be hesitating. The answer is hesitant.
