Answer:

New York City

Explanation:

New York City is a great place for adventures: You can wander through Central Park, tour the exhibits at the Met, and catch a Broadway show. At night, admire Manhattan's glittering skyscrapers from the top of the Empire State Building or the rooftop bar of your trendy boutique hotel. Foodies will also appreciate the Big Apple's endless restaurant options. If you want to sample a bit of everything, consider signing up for a food tour. But for New York City, you need a lot of stamina to be moving from place to place. Can really wore u down. There are endless ways to spend your time in the city that never sleeps, but before you leave, stop and look around – what's here today will be transformed into something bigger and better tomorrow.

Answer:

Bahamas

Explanation:

I went to the Bahamas a year ago and I had a whole bunch of fun. I plan to go back as soon as this pandemic had relaxed and gone away. While I was there, I visited Cocoa Cay, which was the last island and extremely fun. I love this place because it's variety of people and it's locations. I remember one of the slides I had been on. When you stood on the pad inside of the tube, you would wait until the floor dropped and you would fly down the tube sliding all the way. I SWEAR everytime I got on my heart skipped a beat. Another one is where you'd be in a ball and you would ride down a slide getting rocked around and you'd hold onto the handles. In there was a loop and my heart skipped a beat cause I thought I was gonna fall and then, it ended.

Sayeed Johnson, who is running for mayor, will be speaking at the city library tonight.
andreyandreev [35.5K]

Answer: Terms that describe the underlined portion of the sentence ("who is running for mayor") are: nonrestrictive and clause.

Explanation:

 • A clause is a grammar unit that, unlike a phrase, contains a verb and a subject. It is different from a sentence in that it does not convey a complete thought and does not make sense on its own. In this case, "who is running for mayor" is a relative clause.

*An appositive is a noun/noun phrase which identifies another element in a sentence (typically another noun phrase). This is not the case here, as this construction is a relative clause and not a noun phrase.

 • A nonrestrictive clause, also known as a nonessential clause, is a clause which provides details that are not essential for a sentence to make sense. In other words, the meaning of the sentence would remain the same without this clause - Sayeed Johnson will be speaking at the city library tonight.
