Explanation: Christopher Columbus was sent to India by King Ferdinand & Queen Isabella. Instead of taking the normal route Christopher tried to go across the world. And ended up in North America & later reaching South America. When King heard there was gold he sent many men to take over the new land conquering Central America, portions of the Caribbean & larger portions of South America
