Answer:

The correct answer is hypertrophy and hyperplasia.

Explanation:

An enhancement and growth of muscle cells or cross-sectional enlargement of muscle fiber is termed as hypertrophy. Hypertrophy is generally achieved via exercise like weight-lifting is the most general cause of hypertrophy.

On the other hand, an increase in the number of muscle fibers due to cell proliferation or longitudinal fiber dissociation is termed as hyperplasia. The term hyperplasia at certain times is also associated with a benign tumor or neoplasia. An increase in the number of cells is hyperplasia and an increase in the size of cells is hypertrophy.

Nicotinic receptors a. are found at neuroeffector junctions of the parasympathetic nervous system. b. respond to epinephrine. c.
Verizon [17]

Answer:

Option C, open chemically gated sodium ion channels.

Explanation:

The nicotinic receptors are present on the muscle cell membrane. These receptors belong to the class of cholinergic receptor which binds to the acetylcholine and opens the gated channel to allow transfusion of cation through it. These actions of the receptors are stimulated by the neurotransmitter. Nicotinic receptors are very fast at acting and hence are more prevalent at the neuromuscular junction.

Hence, option  C is correct

Analyze how different concentrations of solutes in a solution can affect organism's cells.
kaheart [24]
Lets see this with example
if you put a red blood cell in a glass of water the red blood cell is in hypotonic solution and that water flows into less concentrated area ( in to the red blood cell ) which eventually will swell and burst.
Another plot is when we put the same red blood cell in a glass full of salty solution which is Heterogeneous solution. In these case the water will move out from the cell to the solution which cause the cell to shrink.
