<u>Answer-</u>

\boxed{\boxed{T_{-3, 1}(x, y)}}

\boxed{\boxed{(x, y) \rightarrow (x-3, y+1)}}

<u>Solution-</u>

The coordinates of the vertices of trapezoid ABCD are,

A = (-1, -2)

B = (1, -2)

C = (2, -5)

D = (-2, -5)

The coordinates of the vertices of trapezoid A'B'C'D' are,

A' = (-4, -1)

B' = (-2, -1)

C' = (-1, -4)

D' = (-5, -4)

As it can be observed that, all the x coordinates are decreased by 3 units, and all the y coordinates are increased by 1 units

x coordinates are decreased 3 units means the final figure is moved 3 units to the left and y coordinates are increased 1 units means the final figure is moved 1 units up.

So, the rule for the translation can be written as (x, y) → (x-3, y+1).

This can also be written as T_{-3, 1}(x, y)

A piece of copper tubing is in the shape of a hexagonal prism. The area of the base of the prism is 3 square centimeters. The vo
Evgen [1.6K]

Answer: 17 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

For a regular figure where the area of the base is B, and the height is H, the volume is calculated as:

V = B*H

Here we know that the base of the prism is B = 3 cm^2, and the volume of the prism is 51 cm^3

Then:

B = 3cm^2

V = 51cm^3

If we replace those in the equation above, we get:

51 cm^3 = (3cm^2)*H

Solving this for H gives:

(51 cm^3)/(3 cm^2) = H = 17 cm

The height of the tubing is 17 cm

What is the value of x? tangent lines acellus
liberstina [14]

Answer:

30°

Step-by-step explanation:

the three interior angles of a triangle add up to 180, so 60° + 90°+ 30° just works. Sorry it's such a bad explanation, but the answer works . I have acellus too and I entered the answer before answering your question.
