well, I'd say never, since intersection by its definition means, it comes from somewheres, hits the other, and keeps on going, like the planes P and Q in the picture below.

so intersection by definition is not in a straight line.

Neporo4naja [7]

Answer:

1) Area = 12cm²

2) x = 5cm

Surface area : 69cm²

Step-by-step explanation:

Opposites sides in a rectangle would equal the same.

so Top/bottom = 20+20=40

Front/back = 15+15=30

40+30=70cm²

94-70=24cm² for left and right side 24÷2=12cm²

2) Those lines represents what side it is equal too which also means the same.

3cm, you know that base x height = surface area so surface area ÷ height = base

15/3=5cm

x=5cm

Formula : Base x Height = One surface area

Front/Back= 15+15=30

Top/bottom = 5x3 = 15+15=30

side/side = 3x3=9

30+30+9=69cm²

Day X = 33; Day Y = 44. What is the percent change from day X to day Y?
Serhud [2]

Answer: 33.3% increase, pretty sure

Step-by-step explanation: Big number- Small number, and then divided by the first number: 44-33=11. 11 divided by 33 ( original) is 0.3333, and then change the decimal to a percent, which is 33.3%.

3 x -2^(n-1)

To answer this question, first solve the equation 3 x -2^(n-1) for n=1, n=2,
n=3, n=4, and n=5.

Where n=1
3 x -2^(1-1)
3 x -2^0
3 x 1
n1 = 3

Where n=2
3 x -2^(2-1)
3 x -2^1
3 x -2
n2 = -6

Where n=3
3 x -2^(3-1)
3 x -2^2
3 x 4
n3 = 12

Where n=4
3 x -2^(4-1)
3 x -2^3
3 x -8
n4 = -24

Where n=5
3 x -2^(5-1)
3 x -2^4
3 x 16
n5 = 48

The next step is to find the summation by adding n1 + n2 + n3 + n4 + n5.

3 + (-6) + (12) + (-24) + (48) =
3 - 6 + 12 - 24 + 48
= 33
The answer is C. 33
