<em>Pongo </em>is the conjugation of the verb <em>poner </em>for the first-person singular in the simple present. So, where do I put the balls? I put them <em>in the backpack *en la mochila)</em>
4. ¿Por qué supones que el museo está cerrado hoy?
Yo supongo que el museo está cerrado hoy porque es lunes
<em>Supongo </em>is the conjugation of the verb <em>suponer </em>for the first-person singular in the simple present. So, I suppose the museum is closed today because<em> it's Monday.</em>
5. ¿Cuándo ves a tus amigos?
Yo veo a mis amigos en mi tiempo libre
<em>Veo </em>is the conjugation of the verb <em>ver </em>for the first-person singular in the simple present. So, I see my friends in my <em>free time.</em>

<em>Oímos </em>is the conjugation of the verb <em>oír </em>for the first-person plural in the simple present. <em>Fiesta </em>is a feminine noun, so we need the feminine form of the combination <em>of the </em>which is <em>de la.</em> So, <em>we listen to the music of the party</em>
7. mercedes / salir / el trabajo (work) / nueve y cuarto
Mercedes sale del trabajo a las nueve y cuarto
<em>Sale </em>is the conjugation of the verb <em>salir </em>for the third-person singular. In this example, we also use the formula <em>a + la(s) + time </em> to tell the time.
8. yo / suponer que / mi equipo / ir a perder
Yo supongo que mi equipo va a perder
<em>Supongo </em>is the conjugation of the verb <em>suponer </em>for the first-person singular in the simple present. So, I suppose my team is going to lose
9. ver / los chicos / la televisión / todo el día
Los chicos ven la televisión todo el día
<em>Los </em>is a definite article in the plural form. <em>Chicos</em> means <em>children </em>and <em>todo el día </em>means <em>all day. </em>So,<em> the children watch television all day.</em>
