What is the slope of this line?

Mathematics
1 answer:
Naddika [18.5K]3 years ago
6 0

Answer:

The slope of the line is -6.

Step-by-step explanation:

To find the slope of a line we can use the rise/run method. To make it easy for us we can use the two points already provided. Starting from the point on the bottom, we should rise in a vertical line up until the top point. When doing so, we get 6, so our rise = 6. Then we need to run and seeing how we are running to the left instead of the right our answer should be a negative. When running to the top point we get -1. We get 1  as there is only one unit when stop from rising and it is a negative since it's running to the left. So, our run = -1 and putting it together our rise/run =6/-1 which simplified is -6.
