<span>The “Declaration of Independence” was the document that addressed colonists concern and grievances. This declaration gave equal rights to the colonists as any other British citizen. In this declaration it was written that no taxes can be implemented by the British Empire without the consent of the colonists. The grievances of the colonists included the laws passed by the British seemed unjust to them. The colonists also were unable to sell the products they produced to any country except Britain.  Also the British implemented high taxes on products from other countries, so that the colonists had no other option but to buy British products only.</span>
