The correct answer is C. The Catholic Church has a single leader in the pope; the Eastern Orthodox Church has no single leader. That is because unlike the Catholic world where there's only one pope, in the Orthodoxy world every orthodox country has its own orthodox church with a patriarch in charge. They are in no way connected and they don't work together or anything, but usually all of the things they stand for and believe are the same.

The correct answer is:

C. The Catholic Church has a single leader in the pope; the Eastern Orthodox Church has no single leader.

Explanation:

One of the main differences between the Roman Catholicism and the Eastern Orthodoxy is that the Catholic Church has a supreme authority; the Pope, he is infallible and has authority over the whole Church, and the Eastern Orthodox Church doesn't have a centralized authority, all Bishops are leaders of their Church and are not infallible like the Pope; the Patriarch of Constantinople, who is traditionally seen as first among equals doesn't have a real supremacy, it is only a courtesy title.

How would the threat of nuclear attacks increase the fear of the "Red Scare?
Jet001 [13]

Answer:

.

Explanation:

The Red Scare was the fear of communism. America and the Soviet Union came out as two world powers after WW2, holding the most amount of nuclear weaponry. They were the two opponents(not including any satellite states or colonies) of the Cold War, and had opposing economic ideas, America supporting capitalism and the Soviet Union supporting Communism. Going back to the high amounts of nuclear weaponry on both sides, since there were such alarming amounts people around the world were in fear of nuclear warfare, especially those in America. American citizens often believed that the Soviet Union would strike America and attack with nuclear bombs, which increased the presence of the Red Scare.

What period and refiin we're the olmec
Ilia_Sergeevich [38]

The Olmecs flourished during Mesoamerica's formative period, dating roughly from as early as 1500 BCE to about 400 BCE. Pre-Olmec cultures had flourished in the area since about 2500 BCE, but by 1600–1500 BCE, early Olmec culture had emerged, centered on the San Lorenzo Tenochtitlán site near the coast in southeast Veracruz. They were the first Mesoamerican civilization, and laid many of the foundations for the civilizations that followed. Among other "firsts", the Olmec appeared to practice ritual bloodletting and played the Mesoamerican ballgame, hallmarks of nearly all subsequent Mesoamerican societies. The aspect of the Olmec's most familiar now is their artwork, particularly the aptly named "colossal heads". The Olmec civilization was first defined through artifacts which collectors purchased on the pre-Columbian art market in the late 19th century and early 20th century. Olmec artworks are considered among ancient America's most striking.

"Without feelings of respect, what is there to distinguish men from beasts?" -Confucius
Sidana [21]
The quote means that, if people do not show respect towards other people, creatures, and cultures, they are no different than the lowliest animals of the earth. Confucius was a Chinese philosopher, politician, and teacher. His believed strongly in respect of elders and the traditions of family. He was influential during the Spring and Autumn periods of China but continues to be very influential today. Because it is written by Confucius, one can assume that this quote belongs to the beliefs of Confucianism. As for agreeing or disagreeing, my opinions are not yours, so you should write that yourself. :)
