One of the absolute biggest reasons to have fought in the civil war was to abolish slavery. The second reason was to gain more state rights and lower tariffs. Those were the two main goals of the civil war. But, propaganda is what would really make people want to enlist. The propaganda sometimes guilt tripped people into thinking they needed to help.

After the First World War, the Weimar Republic attempted to create a perfect democracy in the country. Having no constitution became a drawback because there is no law to guide the people and they are all free to do what they want. No restrictions, No limitations.</span>
