Plot overview: The Manor Farm`s animals were gathered together by a prize-winning boar, he wanted them to have a meeting in the big barn.  He tells his audience about a dream he has had, in his dream animals were free, there were no humans to control or oppress them. He convinced to the animals that they should work in order to achieve that paradise, after that he taught them the song "Beast of England" that described his vision with lyrics.

After that, the animals agree to work for boar`s dream, but he died three nights after they gathered, but his dream was not going to be forgotten, that's why  three younger pigs—Snowball, Napoleon, and Squealer—formulate his main principles into a philosophy called Animalism.
