Yes, I do. After so many years of neoliberalism as the foundation of the United States Capitalist economic system, the gap between the few who have more and the many who have less is wider and wider. You have to wonder why so few live in abundance while most of the society has to work very hard daily just to make end meets.
How does that affect the ability of capitalist proponents to promote capitalism in other countries such as China and India?
Well, without a doubt in Macroeconomics, China is doing more than great. But poverty in the middle and low class is also evident. Regarding India, the situation is worse, millions of people are not only poor, but they are living in extreme poverty. In macroeconomics, companies and multinational corporations are doing well, mostly the owners and the tot hierarchy. But India, as a society, is very poor.
So Capitalism is reaching the end in ist pure form, and some other countries are trying to come up with a new form of an economic system that shares the wealth in a more balanced way.
