An elementary bilingual teacher asks you to come to her class to talk to her students about how you used to celebrate the holida

ys with your family. First, you want your Spanish teacher to hear what you plan to say. Be sure to include where you used to celebrate most family holidays, what you used to do, who got together with you to celebrate, and what your favorite family holiday was and why.
Your answer should be 1-2 paragraphs. Make sure you write at least 5 sentences that answer all the items above, and include any needed accents, tildes, or special punctuation that Spanish uses. Focus on using both forms of past tense as needed; use the clues given in the paragraph above to determine which past tense you need to use.

Well, I can't completely help, but I do know some tricks.

For example, write it out fully in English, or the best language you have fluently, then put the whole essay into a translator. Next, make a new document, and copy and paste the translated version into it. Read it out many times, get some quick help (I know some podcasts that can help you learn Spanish easier, like Duolingo) and, once you have learned a bit more (another trick is to read through it using the translator, and see some of the translation parts to learn more Spanish from words that you used) filter out any kinks, and turn it in! It seems harder written out than it is, but it's an efficient way!

Answer:

Hace seis años que conocí a mi esposo.

It was six years ago that I met my husband.

Explanation:

The verb hacer can be used in various ways to talk about the passage of time. You can use hacer to describe how long ago something happened or how long you have been doing something. You can also use hacer to describe past actions that were interrupted by another action. Am example would be: Hace seis años que conocí a mi esposo which translates to It was six years ago that I met my husband.

The specific time is 6. Que is que. And the verb is conoci
