Definition : a person who is blamed for the wrongdoings, mistakes, or faults of others, especially for reasons of expediency.

Significance with Holocaust : The Jew became the obvious scapegoat. Aiding this stance for Germany was Darwin’s published theories of biological evolution. The superior being is the one left standing. Darwin’s works gave the German people a chance to see current history through “a new and meaningful interpretation.”

Why was the Declaration of Independence such a radical document?
Romashka [77]

The answer is:

A. It claimed that governments must be representative of the people.

The Declaration of Independence, mainly written by Thomas Jefferson in 1776, alleges that governments are appointed to act or speak in representation of the people, as long as people allow governments to rule them.

The rest of the alternatives are incorrect because the Declaration of Independence indicates that governments must respect individual rights, people's rights are naturally guaranteed, and the colonists disapproved of the King of England's oppression.
