Geography

The easiest way to remember biomes is to connect them with some things that are familiar to you, like climate, tree/plant, animal. For example: to remember the tundra you can go with associations like rain deer, moss, ice and cold, or for tropical savanna with lion, tall grasses, hot.

What is the difference between p waves and s waves
galben [10]

Answer:

Because of their wave movement, P waves travel through any kind of material, whether it is a solid, liquid or gas. On the other hand, S waves only move through solids and are stopped by liquids and gases. ... This also accounts why fewer S waves are recorded than P waves.

Plants in the Namib Desert have developed and adaptation that allows them to get their water from
Yakvenalex [24]

The correct answer is - the air.

The Namib Desert is one of the driest places on the planet and that is due to the cold and dry ocean currents alongside the southwestern part of Africa which are not providing the right conditions for precipitation to occur.

Even though there's no rain, because the Namib Desert is very hot, and the ocean currents very cold, the end result is mist that appears every morning, as well as dew.

The plants living in this desert have evolved in accordance to the conditions, so instead of being dependent on their roots for getting water, they get the majority of the water through their leafs and skin, directly from the air.
