Read again stanzas one and two. Suggest a word or phrase of your own that best describe how the two characters feel about each o
Serjik [45]

Answer: Read again stanzas one and two. Suggest a word or phrase of your own that best describe how the two characters feel about each other . In ballad of Birmingham, In the First Stanza, the daughter was asking for permission from her Mother, to go to the march, you could see, she respected her mother, and needed approval to do certain things. In the second stanza, you could see a Cautious woman, protecting her child from the dangers of the world.

Explanation:

In the first stanza;

Mother dear, may I go downtown

Instead of out to play,

And march the streets of Birmingham

In a Freedom March today?”

In the First Stanza, the daughter was asking for permission from her Mother, to go to the march, you could see, she respected her mother, and needed approval to do certain things.

In the second stanza;

No, baby, no, you may not go,

For the dogs are fierce and wild,

And clubs and hoses, guns and jails

Aren’t good for a little child.”

In the second stanza, the mother refuses, because she was trying to protect her daughter from the dangers of her environment.

From the first two stanzas, you could see that the mother loved her daughter and wanted to protect her from the dangers of the world, and you could see that the daughter respected her mum, to ask for permission to go the march.

Greek men often consulted the help of an blank when trying to understand the wishes of a god or goddess
neonofarm [45]

Answer:

Greek men often consulted the help of an oracle when trying to understand the wishes of a god or goddess.

Explanation:

An oracle is a priest or priestess who would be the medium through which ancient Greeks communicate with their gods and goddesses. These oracles are like the priests of modern days who would act as the intermediary between men and gods.

Oracles are a huge part of Greek society and life. Kings would consult with such oracles for each and every endeavor, be it war or marriage or business plans. One such oracle was the Oracle of Delphi, of the Delphi temple.
