Answer:

It convinced people that a strong federal government was needed.

Explanation:

The Shays´ Rebellion was an armed uprising led by the American Revolutionary War veteran Daniel Shays against the purpose of the Massachusetts government to apply taxes on individuals and their trades.

It showed the weakness that the Articles of Confederation gave to the central government because it could not afford funding troops to send as help to the State´s militia. Finally, the Rebellion was put down by the army of the State along with privately funded militia.

It created a sense among the population that the Articles should be revised and reformed. Therefore a Constitutional Convention was created and a new government began.

I hope this answer helps you.

President Andrew Johnson said that "this is a country for white men." How did he act on this belief?
max2010maxim [7]

answer:

he vetoed most reconstruction legislation.

Explanation:

After the Civil War, Radical Republicans in Congress and President Andrew Johnson differ over the terms and conditions for readmitting the withdrew states to the Union. President Johnson saw Reconstruction as an official duty and blocked congressional activities.

Congress tried to check the power of the presidency, which had extended in wartime, and took a less appeasing position toward the previous Confederate states on issues of loyalty, governance, and the privileges of black citizens. In 1867 and 1868 Congress passed four Reconstruction Acts over Johnson's vetoes.
