One of the evidences that Wegener used for his theory of continental drift was that the mountains in North America appear to be part of the same chain of mountains as those in Northern Europe.

Explanation:

Alfred Wegener is considered to be the first person that managed to gather enough evidence and push through the theory of continental drift. This was not an easy task though, as the technology was still not at as developed as it is now, and also there was big skepticism among the other scientists about his suggestions. Wegener was not discouraged, but instead he totally focused his career on the continental drift theory, and eventually it paid off.

One of the evidence that Wegener was using was that the mountains in the eastern part of North America appear to part of the same chain of mountains as those in Northern Europe. Wegener was right, as the Appalachian Mountain Range and the mountains in Scandinavia are actually formed as part of the same orogeny, and they were indeed connected. Over time Europe and North America drifted apart, but the evidence are there to be seen

Other evidence that Wegener used for his theory are:

 • the matching coastlines of South America and Africa
 • fossil evidence
 • geological evidence
 • mid-Atlantic Ocean ridge

c) Find the lifting condensation level (LCL) for a parcel initialized with the properties of the sounding near the surface. Does
Maslowich

Answer and Explanation:

Lifting buildup level is the tallness at which relative moistness of an air package will be 100% when it will be cooled by adiabatic Lifting.

Since the environmental weight decline with stature, bundle of air extend and cools . In the event that air is cooled to its dew point temperature, at that point immersion happen and buildup started. So LCL will entirely rely upon stature.

Coming to level of free convection, at this height in this climate where temperature of condition decline quicker than most adiabatic pass pace of immersed air package at same level.Air bundle will extend because of diminishing weights and package will chill off. At immersion it will came to at LFC.

No we can't forecast with in next 4 hours since it is framed by ascending of crest of damp air in light of insecurity in air and this flimsiness can be brought about by cooling at the top or warming at base, Neither procedure make deviation from stable conditions in vertical temperature profile and aftereffect of that convection is principle procedure of vertical trade among lower and upper troposphere.

Galileo observed all of the following. Which observation offered direct proof of a planet orbiting the Sun, instead of Earth?
garik1379 [7]

Answer:

Gravity

Explanation:

Basically, the sun keeps all the planets in the orbital motion by gravitational alignment. Just as the earth and moon have a similar gravitational pull towards each other. Galileo gave the idea of Copernicus theory. The theory also follows the models of the geocentric model of Ptolemy. Stars are at a fixed position from the sun and far away from the sun. As compared to the earth which is nearby and rotates on its axis from right to left.

What are the advantages of the winkel-tripel projection?
andrew-mc [135]

Answer: the Winkel tripel fares well against several other projections analyzed against their measures of distortion, producing small distance errors, small combinations of Tissot indicatrix ellipticity and area errors, and the smallest skewness of any of the projections.
