2(x-5)-6x=22 ⇒ We start by multiplying out the bracket and this property is called DISTRIBUTIVE property

2x-10-6x=-22 ⇒ from here the next step is simplifying by collecting like terms

2x-6x-10=-22 ⇒ The simplifying process is the application of COMMUTATIVE property since this property allows us to 'group' the like terms together. In other words, this property allows us to move the -6x next to the 2x.

(2-6)x-10=-22 ⇒ This what actually happened when we simplify 2x-6x, we work out the sum of (2-6) and the answer is multiplied back to x. This is called the ASSOCIATIVE property as we 'associating' the constant of the like terms.

-8x-10=-22 ⇒ Adding 10 on both sides to eliminate -10 on the left hand side of equation

-8x=-22+10
-8x=-12
x= \frac{-12}{-8}= \frac{3}{2}=1.5

Hence, the steps are

STEP 1
STEP 4
STEP 2
STEP 3
STEP 5

Please I need Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!! with number 1 in scientific notation 5 x 10 to the forth power divided by 25 x 10 to the second
cluponka [151]

Answer:

200,000

Step-by-step explanation:

WE MUST USE THE PEMDAS RULE / ORDER OF OPERATION:

Parenthases

Exponent

Multiply

Divide

Add

Subtract

((5 x (10 to the 4th)) / 25) TIMES (10 to the second)

FIRST WE WORK ON THE FIRST PARENTHESIS:

10 to the 4th (10 x 10 x 10 x 10) = 10, 000

MULTIPLE 10, 000 by 5 (10,000 x 5 = 50, 000)

Then DIVIDE by 25 (50, 000 ÷ 25 is 2,000)

WE HAVE 2000 for parenthesis 1.

Now the second one:

10 to the 2nd in 10 x 10....thats equal to 100

2000 x 100 is 200,000! I HOPE YOU UNDERSTAND

X - 1 is inside a cubic root.
The cubic root of a positive number is positive.
The cubic root of zero is zero.
The cubic root of a negative number is negative.
That means that the cubic root of any real number is also a real number.

a cube is a three dimensional solid with 6 square faces. find the total surface area of a cube whose edges are each 5 feet in le
wlad13 [49]

Since a cube has 6 sides with equal length and width for area, we can simply do 5 x 5 equaling 25. Then, we must multiply 25 by 6 which equals 210 square feet.
