Close to the end of the act, Eliza and Alexander have a child, who they named Philip, after Eliza's father.
In the military and becomes General Washington's right-hand man, and makes himself important to the revolution and future events. While he is expecting a child, the revolution is won and he goes home and becomes a Lawyer, the act ends with him becoming Treasury Secretary, and re-becoming George Washington's right-hand man.
