You do the multiplication in the brackets first

so 2/3 (20) / 3 + 6/7

then multiply 20 by 2/3 to get 40/3

then divide 40/3 by 3 to get 40/9

and finally add 40/9 to 6/7 by finding the least common denominator

Nataly_w [17]
If Jim were jogging for have an hour his heart would beat 4,500 times. 4,500 minus 2,100, the amount of time his heart would beat in half an hour if he was resting, would be 2,400. So Jim's heart beats 2,400 more times when he is jogging for half an hour than it would be if he was resting for half an hour.

Answer: 2000(1+0.185/2)to the power of 3/2

= $2283.82

Step-by-step explanation: compounded interest is A= P(1 +r) the to power of N

So assuming semi annually means twice a year

Can someone please help!! I will give all stars
Verizon [17]
Well we know that sin(angle) = opposite/hypotenuse. using the angle of 38 degrees we see that the opposite is 24 and the hypotenuse is x. So we fill in equation:
sin (38) = 24/x
x *sin (38) = 24
x = 24/ sin (38)
x = 38.98
x = 39.0

Assume that all conditions are met. The mean of the differences was 1. 33 and the standard deviation of those differences was 2.
Maurinko [17]

The test statistic for this procedure is using two sample T-test is 0.458.

Definition of Two Sample T-test

A variation of the Student's t-test used to determine if two sample means are substantially different is known as the two sample T-test (also known as Welch's t-test, Welch's adjusted T, or unequal variances t-test). The test's degrees of freedom have been changed, which generally boosts the test's power for samples with unequal variance.

T-Test Statistic for The Procedure

It is given that mean of the differences = 1.33

And, the standard deviation of the differences, standard error = 2.90

The test static formula is given as,

t = (estimate - hypothized value) / standard error

Here,  t is the t- test statistic, and estimate is the mean of the differences.

Since it is given that all conditions are met, the hypothized value can be taken as 0

Substituting substituting estimate = 1.33 and standard error = 2.90 in the t-test statistic formula, we get,

t = (1.33-0)/2.90

or t = 0.458
