Someone plz help me find x and y in this angle
Nastasia [14]

X=7 however the entire angle equals 64

Y=26

Explanation

There’s 2 alternative angles meaning they are equal to each other so you set them equal to each other

14x-34=9x+1

X=7

Now plug it in to find the exact measurement

In either one of them since they’re congruent

14(7)-34=64

X=7 but the angle equals 64

this part I’m not sure if it’s 180 or 90 but

Now do 90-26 you get what y is 26

Now to double check since it’s a right triangle they should all add up to 180

26+64+90

Can you make a triangle with 9 in , 4 in , and 6 in
AleksAgata [21]

Answer:

Yes, you can make a triangle with it

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

Lengths: 9in, 4in, 6in

Required

Do the lengths form a valid triangle

To do this, we make use of triangle inequality theorem which states that;

For sides a, b and c;

a + b > c

b + c >a

a + c > b

So, we have:

9 + 4 > 6 -- true

4 + 6 > 9 -- true

6 + 9 > 4 -- true

Since all the inequalities are true, then the sides form a valid triangle

Part 1: Identify the center and radius of each. Then sketch the graph. Please show work
blsea [12.9K]

Answer:  1. Center = (-4, -1)     radius = 1

               2. Center = (3, -4)     radius = 3

               3. Center = (0, 2)      radius = 4

               4. Center = (-3, 1)     radius = 3

Step-by-step explanation:

The standard form of a circle is (x - h)² + (y - k)² = r²

  • (h, k) is the center
  • r is the radius

1) (x + 4)² + (y + 1)² = 1

  (x - (-4))² + (y - (-1))² = 1²         →    (h, k) = (-4, -1)       r = 1

2) (x - 3)² + (y + 4)² = 9

   (x - (3))² + (y - (-4))² = 3²       →    (h, k) = (3, -4)      r = 3

3) x² + (y - 2)² = 16

  (x - (0))² + (y - (2))² = 4²        →   (h, k) = (0, 2)      r = 4

4) (x + 3)² + (y - 1)² = 9

   (x - (-3))² + (y - (1))² = 3²       →   (h, k) = (-3, 1)     r = 3
