Peter van Daan was the son of Mr. and Mrs. van Daan. Anne depicted him as a cautious, quiet, and polite young boy who was hardly seen in the daily altercations between members of the annex.
Miep Gies was a young woman who took it upon herself to bring to the members of the annex foodstuff, books, and other things they needed to remain safe at the annex. She was a kind, caring, and protective woman.
Anne Frank who was the narrator was a curious young girl, always excited, and talkative. She as not afraid to write down her feelings about each member of the annex. She was also known to voice her feeling and that caused her disagreements with some members of the annex.
Mr. Frank who was Anne's father was a gentleman, who was always worried about other members of the household. He was thoughtful, and a leader. Anne most times sought advice from him, and he was not always found engaging in petty quarrels.
