The importance of Latin during the Scientific Revolution in Europe provided a common language for the exchange of ideas

When  scientific revolution occur in  Europe. Latin languages were used as the main language for exchanging new ideas and insights. Eminent European scholars and scientists produced enormous number of scientific works in Latin.

Various number of Latin compound adjective word were formed in Biological science, various scientific terminologies were formed in Latin, and new words were derived from Latin to express new scientific ideas. An example of Latin scientific work is- De Revolutionibus Orbium Coelestium by Nicolaus Copernicus.
