The correct answer is D) Connor's friends listen and say they understand as he explains that his parents are separating.

The scenario that best demonstrates empathy is "Connor's friends listen and say they understand as he explains that his parents are separating."

In simple terms, "empathy" is being aware of other people's needs or suffering. Being sensitive or compassionate about the situation another person is living in. As commonly is said, to put oneself in other people's shoes. In this case, the friends of Connor show empathy to Connor because they probably lived a similar situation in the past and the know how this situation feels and can express compassion and support to Connor.

Read this paragraph.
Leviafan [203]

Answer:

The paragraph has a first-person narrator sharing an eyewitness account.

Explanation:

The authors writes/talks in the first person using words like "I, me, my, mine, we, us, our, ours." "I, me, my, mine" are called first-person singular pronouns. These are pronouns you use when you are stating you did or are doing. "We, us, our, ours" are first person possessive pronouns. This is when you are talking about something <em>and </em>another person are doing. There are also possessive pronouns which are slightly more complicated because they can fall into more than one category of pronouns. Possessive pronouns are used when you or you and more than one person own or are in possession of an object.

"First-person singular pronouns are 'I,' 'me,' 'my,' and 'mine. ' First-person plural pronouns are 'we,' 'us,' 'our,' and 'ours. ' First-person possessive pronouns are 'my,' 'mine,' 'our,' and 'ours. ' First-person subjective pronouns are 'I,' 'we,' 'my,' and 'our."

Not only did the quote come from that website but I would recommend going there for information.

This is the first question I have ever answered, seeing as though I made my account about 10 minutes prior to this, so I hope this helps and that it wasn't too bad.

In at least 100 words, describe the way Granny is characterized in "Granny and the Golden Bridge." Use evidence from the text to
bezimeni [28]

When Manual talks about his granny, he tells us a story about an insane old woman. His grandmother was a vivacious and cheery old woman. She had spent her days cooking amuse the troops of the government that were stationed around the Golden Bridge.

As for why she is insane This part of the text justifies it: <em>"She was crazy," Manual insisted, "because she only charged them for the cost of the food she cooked, and she didn't earn a penny for all that work.“</em>

So, to Manual, making food for the troops was crazy because she didn't earn any money from doing so. This part of the text most likely tell us more about the narrator than about Granny.
