Information can fade over time or when new learned information interferes when old. Inability to recall some of previously learned information is known as forgetting and we humans experience it in our day to day lives. The process that requires one to memorize information a second time is known as relearning. For example we do relearning for the steps to algebra when we are preparing for exams.
