Answer:

Step 1: Determine which options are correct

To summarize the central idea in a text, readers should identify the topic and then identify

- Option B: the author's opinion about the topic.

The reason why Option B is correct is because that is the an important detail to add for the summarization of a text. It is not Option A because little-known facts are not important in a summarization. The reason why Option C isn't an answer is because a summarization does not include other opinions. Finally, the reason why the answer isn't Option D is because there is no point of having scientific facts about the topic.

Identify the underlined clause as either dependent or independent. Miss Bottrell was beaming because her students did so well on
Cerrena [4.2K]

“because her students did so well on the test” is a dependant and adverbial clause.

It is a dependant clause because it is part of a sentence, and to complete its meaning, it depends on the main clause (Miss Bottrell was beaming)

The subordinator conjunction “because” introduces the adverbial clause. It is a clause of purpose as it can be recognized by answering the question “Why was Miss Bottrell beaming”?

Explain how to form a possessive indefinite pronoun; demonstrate by writing a sentence using the pronoun "everyone."
Verizon [17]

Answer:Unlike the personal pronouns, the indefinite pronouns form their possessives by adding “apostrophe ‑s.” Only one has a plural form (others). In formal settings, all indefinite pronouns ending in ‑one or ‑body are singular. You should therefore use singular verbs.
