The texture in this painting is almost rough and matte. This texture adds a rustic feel to the painting. It allows the artist to move its viewers through a state of confusion and hardship that gives the watcher a better outlook on life. To me this looks like lots of things but the texture gives that spice that some artist lack.

If they pass the training, it means that they are physically, mentally and tactically fit and capable of going to war. Some of them are even better than their male counterparts and therefore sparing them during the war due to their physical inferiority is a costly mistake as those things take more than physical strength.
