I want to fit in at my new school, sol bought some clothes like the other kids even though I think they look strange.

Answer: Option D.

Explanation:

In the paragraph that has been talked above in the question is about the moving of one section from the land where they had been living for years and their ancestors had also been living for years on that land. So for them moving to a new place was very tough especially when they had to leave their ancestors land.

So the author also had to move from that land and shift to a new place but he was kind of excited also to do that because in a new place he would get to meet people of new culture and learn a different language.

Nick Carraway is the first-person narrator, who's always on the outside looking in. He says at the beginning that he's "inclined to reserve all judgements,", so he's almost a non-existent narrator while actually being there to observe everyone's lives around him.

It really embarrasses me when I meet someone new and that person is really shy and introvert! A month ago a friend of mine introduced his sister to me and she was so quite that she barely spoke.

The problem is, I was very shy as well and I didn’t feel comfortable telling too much about myself. I’d prefer to meet someone who I have less in common with, that is to meet someone who’s very talkative and extrovert so that I would feel more confident in introducing myself and sharing my thoughts.
