Explanation: The shape of an enzyme is very important because it has a direct effect on how it catalyzes a reaction. An enzyme's shape is determind by the sequence of amino acids in its structure, and bonds which then form between the atoms of those molecules. There are steps of the catalytic cyle of an enzyme and are as follows:

1. The enzyme has an empty active site and is available.

2. The substrate binds to the enzyme with induced fit.

3. The substrate is change to the products.

4. Finally the enzyme releases the products.
