At first, the natives welcomed the European settlers. It is well known that they were helped to survive in the winter. However, the presence of colonizing migrants rapidly increased, fact that threatened the lives of native communities  as they invaded their ancestral territories. This generated many conflicts that grew and grew like a snowball.

The biggest conflict was generated when European settlers capture one of the authorities of the native community. This "Indian chief" dies in captivity which generated much outrage and anger.

This war took place between 1675 and 1678 in the territory that is now known as the United States and it was fatal to the native communities since they were almost completely exterminated. These communities experienced great violence and those who survived were enslaved.
