Help on this one as well ii manged to get an answer but If you understand it or im wrong an you please explain ! thank you !!
AnnZ [28]
Almost got it!

x + 3 = 3(y + 2)/2 [Multiplied both sides by 3]
so x + 3 = (3y + 6)/2
2(x + 3) = 3y + 6 [Multiplied both sides by 2]
2x + 6 = 3y + 6
2x = 3y [Subtracted 6 from both sides]
x = 3y/2 [Divided both sides by 2]
x/3 = y/2 [Divided both sides by 3]

So you wrote y/3 instead of y/2
Hope this helped!

posledela

Answer:

 • $2.65

Step-by-step explanation:

Let chocolate bar cost be c and blow pop cost be b

Then we have equations:

 • 5c + 8b = 23.25
 • 2c + 13b = 21.55

Multiply the first equation by 13 and the second one by 8 and subtract:

 • 13(5c + 8b) - 8(2c + 13b) = 13(23.25) - 8(21.55)
 • 65c - 16c = 129.85
 • 49c = 129.85
 • c = 129.85/49
 • c = 2.65

Chocolate bar costs $2.65
