Answer:

To guess the likely twists and unknowns

Explanation:

Mysteries are unique in that they keep more information from the reader than other genres. Therefore, readers must be sure to gather the information that is given to be able to guess the information that isn't. While you won't always be correct, being clever and trying to predict twists will often add to the reading experience.

Read the following paragraph from "Wanted: A Town Without Crazy."
love history [14]
Hey there. Sounds like an interesting story..
I would probably chose B as the best choice since it summarizes the main points of the story. A is the second best choice, but it only mentions the guitar. C and D both miss major parts of the story, only mentioning the clothes and shopping. Hope this helps you out. :D

What two recurring events in Earth’s history have an impact on the carbon cycle?
Oksanka [162]
Carbon is stored inside plants. When deforestation occurs or any other natural clearing of land, the carbon cycle is changed due to plants being removed that would have captured the CO2 and changed it to oxygen and also by the removal of large plants that store carbon being replaced with either small crops or concrete that do not store carbon. In nature, fossil fuels release carbon very slowly over time, humans burn it at a much greater rate due to dependence on it, and burning fossil fuels emits a lot of CO2 into the atmosphere.
