Write an essay that makes a prediction about what will happen in the portions of
kirill115 [55]

As we do not know which point in the novel you are at, it is impossible for us to determine what will happen in the portions of the novel that you have not read. However, we can try to make some general assumptions of what you might be thinking about the text.

In the novel Frankenstein, we quickly learn that Dr. Frankenstein is obsessed with achieving glory through science. He wants to create life, and is arrogant about his ability to do so. As this is a horror book, and as it is set during the Romantic period, we can assume that this obsession with science will become problematic and lead to tragedy.

Moreover, once the monster is created, we can see that it very quickly has an affinity towards humans. He wants to learn from them, and he is even able to learn language. Based on this, we can most likely conclude that the creature will be unhappy, as he will never be accepted by the people that he so admires and loves.

enot [183]
1. You can see through the comparison to a mountain, that the grandpa is tall and always there 'looming' (hovering) over the speaker. You can see that the speaker does not speak much around his grandpa, as he is "silent as a stone".

2. These details show that the speaker is impressed by his grandpa and looks up to him the way a stone would look up to a mountain-it shows that he hopes one day he will grow to be like his grandpa.

3. The theme of this poem is shown through the way the speaker looks at his grandpa and the shed. The shed needs more than paint because it is so old, which relates to his grandpa and the theme of growing older.

That baseball team won the World Series, so the players must be outrageously talented baseball players.
Slav-nsk [51]

The correct answer is D. Division

Explanation:

A fallacy refers to a faulty argument or argument that is invalid due to problems in the reasoning process, these issues are classified into different types of fallacies such as ad hominem faulty analogy, division, etc. In the case of division fallacy, this occurs when the speaker assumes something is true and valid about the parts that compose a unit just because this is true about the unit or the whole, which means the speaker believes. This occurs in the argument "That baseball team won the World Series, so the players must be outrageously talented baseball players", because the author of this argument assumes all the players are "outrageously talented" because the team or whole is talented, which is invalid as there might be players that are not that talented although the whole team was able to win.

Answer to d
there are many examples of how imbalances in power and equality impact our modern day society. one example that i thought of is the difference between the wealthy population of our country v. the other 99% of people. the 1% is much more privileged and admired in ways that effect not only how the rest of us are treated but our economy as well. there are many other examples such as differences in race. in the u.s. there are drastic differences in power and equality between races. this includes the proven idea of white privilege in our modern day society. one of the most prevalent races to be discriminated against would be the black or african american population. idk if this helps a lot but it could give you some ideas of what to write
