Well, you could tackle the rectangle first; it doesn't really matter what order you go in, as long as you get the final answer.
1) I'll start with the rectangle. Area=base x height, so 10*4=40
2) The top triangle will go next. Area=(base x height) divided by two. 4*10=40
40/2=20
3) Bottom triangle. 3*10=30
30/2=15
4) Add all areas together: 40+20+15=75

The total area is 75cm².
Hope this helps!

Work out the value of each expression, when r= 2.5 and t = 6.
Usimov [2.4K]

Answer:

a)  4(t - r) = 4(6 - 2.5) = 4 x 3.5 = 14

b)  4t - r = (4 x 6) - 2.5 = 24 - 2.5 = 21.5

c)  2(3t - 10) = 2(3 x 6 - 10) = 2(18 - 10) = 2 x 8 = 16

d)  (t - 2)² = (6 - 2)² = 4² = 4 x 4 = 16

e) cannot decipher the equation

f)  6r + t = 6 x 2.5 + 6 = 15 + 6 = 21

URGENT DUE BY 1:00 FOR MY FINAL GRADE PLEASE HELP OR I WILL FAIL SEMESTER WILL RATE GOOD THX BLESS YOU!!!!
Lesechka [4]
F(x) = 3x + 11
Is the function used to show this.

when you know this, you are able to do the following:
f(10) = 30 + 11 = $41
That would be the allowance of the 10th week.

The question, however wants the total.

This again, can be done like this:
f(1) + f(2) + f(3) + f(4) + f(5) + f(6) + f(7) + f(8) + f(9) + f(10) = $275 :)
14 + 17 + 20 + 23 + 26 + 29 + 32 + 35 + 38 + 41 = $275

Sure there is a better formula, but i couldnt seem to make it, sorry.

HUGE UPDATE: The sum is $275 not 200..
