Ambling doesn’t really do anything for me personally because I am a risk-averse person and so the appeal of casinos eludes me. But once the initial crowds die out, I may go to the casino to check out the place but not to gamble, except perhaps for a few hands of blackjack. Over the last five years I attended a couple of education conferences, one in Las Vegas and the other in Biloxi, Mississippi, that were held in a casinos so naturally I visited those floors in the night to see what it was like.

Some people can make large amounts of money gambling, even if they do not have much to begin with. This usually happens because people take a small amount of money to begin with, gamble on something that is highly probable, and earn a small profit. If the cycle is repeated enough times, the amount can become significant. However, risk and uncertainity surround gambling, which makes it very difficult to repeat this pattern successfully.

Metaphysical poetry in the seventeenth century broke away from conventions of lyrical poetry. The difference is apparent in the choice of cacophonousimagery...

Johnson put five poets in this category: John Donne, Andrew Marvel, George Herbert, Richard Crashaw, and Henry Vaughan. However, they never worked as an organized literary movement. They didn't even read each other. It is only today that we can consider them akin.

As for cacophonous imagery, it was one of their foremost characteristics. The word choices and similes would often be shocking and unusual, not just for their own time but even later. For example, comparing two lovers' souls with two compasses in Donne's A Valediction Forbidding Mourning.

Vikki [24]

Answer:

Heres mine, LOL

Explanation:

I was home alone, and I was washing my hair. I used my moms bathtub because her bathtub was more deep and better for me to wash my hair in. My mother has been gone for 3 hours and I didnt expect her and her husband to be home yet. I wrapped myself in a towel, then dried my hair with another towel. Not knowing they got home, the door opened and my whole behind was showing. I had never felt more embarrassed in my life.
