Explanation:

The Middle Passage was pretty much torture to enslaved Africans. They where crammed into the smallest part of the ship shackled together. Many got sick from diseases that then spread to everyone else. Some Africans even took their own lives to seek freedom and peace from the voyage

Way to many people crammed into barely livable conditions for many weeks on a rocky boat. Disease would spread quickly because of poor sanitation. And as people got sick the sanitation would get worse. It really sucked. And if you survived this you then be sold off into slavery in North America

What was the purpose of the sit-ins? To protest voter discrimination To bring about an end to segregation To win equality at lun
goldenfox [79]

A sit-in or sit-down is a type of direct action in which one or more people occupy a space for the purpose of protecting political, social, or economic change.

What happened during the sit-ins?

The Greensboro sit-in began in 1960, when young African American students staged a sit-in at a segregated Woolworth's lunch counter in Greensboro, North Carolina, and refused to leave after being denied service.

The sit-in campaign quickly spread to college cities across the South. Despite the fact that many demonstrators were jailed for trespassing, disorderly conduct, or disturbing the peace, their actions had an immediate and long-lasting impact, pushing Woolworths and other establishments to amend their segregationist policy.

Thus Option B is the correct answer about the purpose of sit-ins.

to what extent did the British honor the treaty of 1783 which stated they recognized the United States and its new boundaries? W
Anvisha [2.4K]

The British removed their influence and recognized the US as a sovereign nation however they did not remove all of their troops from US lands.

Though the Treaty of Paris 1783 ended the Revolutionary War and Great Britain officially recognized the sovereignty and the independence of the United States. However, they did not remove troops from the US in particular along the western frontier and along the border with Canada. The continued presence of British troops was insulting enough but then the British began attacking US shipping and taking people off the boats to serve in the British army against the French in a system called impressment. These violations of US independence led to the war of 1812 which is considered the "2nd war of independence".
