C. To acknowledge the difficulty of challenging the status quo.

Further Explanation:

Jefferson and Stanton included these similar excerpts in their documents because it was proving difficult for them to challenge the status quo. This idea was famously a part of the Declaration of American Independence where Jefferson firmly placed his belief on the newly formed American government that would reflect the social and cultural values that the Americans would uphold. The Declaration of Independence embodied the greatness of the newly formed American nation, and it was very important for people to understand the state of change that was needed to suit the interests of a newborn American nation. Jefferson believed in the idea of equality of all men, and that they would be given certain rights which they could all exercise in equal measures.

Jefferson and Stanton stressed the importance of the status quo as they believed that a long-established government shall be able to adapt to the changes required as the country consolidates itself and works towards the path of progress. He believed that in the long run, the citizens should not try to change governments simply because they had the power to do so, or for some trifling cause that would be detrimental to progress in the long run. Change is undoubtedly difficult, and according to him, human beings would rather uphold the cause of suffering, then address the cause of suffering itself, till the point when it ultimately becomes unbearable. Mere conventions and petitions would not address the immediate problems that the Americans were facing, nor it would reduce the humiliation suffered at the hands of colonial exploitation. Undoubtedly the difficulty of challenging the status quo would manifest itself unless the people were dedicated to the idea of change, progress and reform.

Think about the Article. In what way are modern comic book characters and comic book readers similar?
USPshnik [31]

Answer:

Option D

Explanation:

The answer is option D or "Both modern comic book characters and readers are more diverse now than in the past." It is a true statement that modern entertainment is becoming more diverse to appeal to different cultures of people the same goes to comic books. If you can create a character coming from a specific culture it will convince more people from that culture to read the comic and fall in love with the character. Usually readers fall in love with a character based on the simple fact that they can relate to the character they are reading about so creating characters with a more diverse background is only expanding the chance of the reader falling in love with him or her.

Hope this helps.

Think about what your ideal home would be and the steps you think you would have to take to make sure that dream a reality.
densk [106]
My ideal home would be a home of uptopia with many acers of land. For riding dirt bikes, and seeing exotic animals. To achieve such a high caliber home I would have to succeed in online marketing. Using social media to my advantage to sell 10$ t-shirts for 50$ or more. I would have to sponsor friends and family's businesses to keep money in the circle. Home isn't quite home without friends or family. I would buy a ronin M by DJI. Camera's lenses. Greenscreen and softboxes. All affordable with a sold investment to a maximum of 2,500$. Because the Ronin M is 1,000 and the camera equipment is expensive, but the greenscreen and softbox lights is like 100$ for the largest greenscreen available, and 100$ for 3 or 4 lights. I would become a professional photographer, and vlogger. I will create a website using a domain name, and a hosting company to host my website and design the website to sponsor me and selected businesses and I will personally ship out products my self<span />

I wanted to know what the answer for the picture that I sent would be
Scorpion4ik [409]

The correct answer is A. That the colonies have not done well and will never do well.

Explanation

Common sense is an essay written and published by the British politician Thomas Paine in the year 1776. This essay was very important during the time of the independence of the thirteen American colonies because it argued simply (for greater understanding) the excessive dominance that the British had over the colonies, of whom they only wanted to exploit their resources and wealth without giving them anything back. This greatly influenced the North American population to support the independence cause against the British kingdom, because Paine also stated that the only way for the colonies to do well, was to become independent and take control of their destiny. Therefore, the correct answer is A. because he states that the colonies had not gone well due to the constant dominance of the British and would not go well because of their exclusive intention to exploit without paying them back.
