- D.) Smog episodes

-"Global warming health effects / Smog, heat waves may contribute to big rise in illness Severe heat waves."

-"Global Warming And Melting Glaciers. With an increase in temperature, glaciers worldwide are melting faster than the time taken for new ice layers to form, and sea water is getting hotter and expanding causing ocean levels to rise. Rivers overflow due to melting glaciers causing floods, forest fires are on the rise."

-"With major melting of glaciers and thermal expansion of water due to global warming and climate change, it is quite possible that the rate of sea level rise will outpace the skyward rise of many growing mountains."

-"Higher Sea Levels. When water heats up, it expands. Thus, the most readily apparent consequence of higher sea temperatures is a rapid rise in sea level. Sea level rise causes inundation of coastal habitats for humans as well as plants and animals, shoreline erosion, and more powerful storm surges that can devastate low-lying areas."

What makes the great barrier reef special?
Kryger [21]

The Great Barrier Reef is special because it is by far the largest reef in the world. It is consisted of around 2,900 individual reefs. The size of this reef is approximately as the size of Germany. There are over 900 islands that are stretched over 2,600 km along the the reef. The Great Barrier Reef is so marking and big, that even though it is below water it can actually be seen from space. The ecological importance of this reef is enormous as it is a home for thousands of species, with approximately 10% of all fish species in the world living in it. Because of its beauty and numerous attractions, the Great Barrier Reef is one of the most visited tourist destinations, and the Australian economy manages to generate between 5 and 6 billion Australian Dollars annually from it. Unfortunately, all of the human activity has been affecting this reef very negatively, and little by little part of it is dying out.

Why monsoon is know as unifying bond explain in detail
USPshnik [31]
Monsoon is known as unifying bond because of the following reasons:
1) The peninsular plateau, under influence of the sea from three sides, has moderate temperatures.
2) The effect of monsoon on the Indian subcontinent is quite perceptible. The seasonal alteration of the wind systems and the associated weather conditions provide a rhythmic cycle of seasons.
3) The people of India especially the farmer from north to south and from east to west, eagerly await the arrival of the monsoon. These monsoon winds bind the whole country by providing water to set agricultural activities in motion. The river valleys which carry this water also unite as a single river valley unit.
